Chippa United confident of winning Blackburn Rovers appeal in Play-off dispute

Chippa United say Blackburn Rovers appeal against the PSL DC's judgment is down to 'jealousy'.

Despite the DC ruling in favour of Chippa, Rovers are not giving up just yet, and are looking to take the case to arbitration, for which a date is still to be set.

"We are filing a statement through the arbitration court and we are going comment more about this once everything has been finalised," Rovers team manager Luxolo Matikinca says.

But Chippa communications manager Nkosinathi Nqanda tells KickOff.com that his club has a strong case, and that Blackburn Rovers are just delaying their progress in the Promotional Play-offs.

"For me [the ruling] was something which was overdue, we will beat Blackburn Rovers on and off the field – they are jealous of our team!

"They got the chance [to get promoted] while they were number one on the table and now they are delaying our progress."

The Play-offs are postponed until all arbitrations have been heard and judged. Follow me on Twitter @Chris_Maq

Why is it that everytime there is playoffs we hear of things like this, why is Player registration not validated through out?

The problem is that they dont verify as soon as posible & also play-offs are told early during the start of the season.

I thought such madness only happened in Swaziland. The Swazi champions, Mbabane Swallows cant celeberate their well deserved triumph at the moment because the darlings of Ro***** Manzini Wanderers are appealing after the DC threw out their initial protest. Indeed jealousy is the freedom of fools!!
