Ajax Cape Town are to step up their interest in two of South Africa's Under-20 squad that recently competed in the 8-Nations tournament in the Mother City. 

Amajita finished a credible third in the event behind South American giants Brazil and Argentina, and a number of their players stood out as potential future PSL stars.   Among those was forward Thabani Mthembu, who plays for KwaZulu-Natal Vodacom League side Young Mates, but netted five times in five matches in the tournament.   Mthembu was once on the books of Kaizer Chiefs, but was suspended by the club for alleged age-cheating when still with the Under-17 side.   The other player interesting Ajax is Kaizer Chiefs playmaker Andile Nqabeni, who has been on loan at Thanda Royal Zulu this season and also played with distinction for lower league outfit, the Soweto Panthers.   Nicknamed 'Eto'o', Nqabeni had trials with Brazilian club Brasilis last year, but the 18-year-old returned to help Thanda into the PSL Playoff Tournament at the end of the National First Division campaign.

I agree with both you gentleman they must sign with Ajax CT cause they are our future U23 players that might take us to the Olympics in Rio, Brazil in 2016.

Need I say more, you cannot mention these lads names without mentioning the mighty Amakhosi. Now that they are showing signs of brilliance fools think they can only succeed somewhere else. Jealousy is at play here. Please give credit where it`s due.

ADVICE FOR CHIEFS, DEVELOPMENT PLAYERS ARE NEVER THROWN AWAY IN THE MANNOR YOU ARE TAKING, YOU LOAN THEM AND MONITOR THEIR PROGRESS WHEREVER THEY ARE. ASK YOUR MODEL CLUB MAN UNITED BOBBY, THEY WILL TELL YOU THE SAME STORY.

Mthembu waz thrown away 4m Chiefs coz of age cheating, it doesn't deserve 2 b written here. All z da water under de bridge & de point z Ajax Cape Town FC needs Thabani Mthembu's services & of dat of current KC boy who's on loan. Ajax z de place 2 b boys, but i'm a Bucs fan thru thick & thin. If u wanna don dat black & yellow of KC wena Nqabeni just refuse diz opportunity & rot lyk boWayne Mathe & company. Gud advice Frans 2 da boys. Eish Pius z smoking nyaope whereva he z. Not da ryt tym 2 praise ur team which knows only hw 2 win the Macufe Cup. Period!!!
