Jele, who got a serious knee injury in November against Bidvest Wits, has not played a match since then, but the Buccaneers faithful are voting for him in large numbers to be part of the Carling Cup next month. But while his team-mates will be on holiday during the off-season, Jele will be training alone to make sure that when the season starts, he will be in a good shape. "All I can say regarding my injury is ‘so far so good', I'm just hoping ahead of next season that I will be well and fit again," he says.

"For me I think it is a huge thing that the supporters still recognise me that I make a difference while I'm there, so I'm happy to be one of the players that they are voting for. "I hope that I'm not going to disappoint them on July 28," he adds.
