Nedbank Cup 2012 champion Sibusiso Zuma says he can thank SuperSport United's technical team for getting him back from injury in time to play a role in the Final win over Mamelodi Sundowns.
"I'd like to thank our technical team because they have been working hard on me since I came back and Gavin (Hunt) for taking his time because I was worried he might rush me back," Zuma told KickOff.com.
"But overall we finished the season strong and won a Cup and we're hoping for a good start to next season."
Asked why he felt Matsatsantsa often finish a season so strong, Zuma said it is all about hard work and fitness.
"SuperSport work hard, every day. We go to the gym, we work hard. It is only for an hour or two, but we push it," he says.
"We also have a group with lots of young talent and every player knows what he has to do."
