All roads will today lead to the Lyric Theatre at Gold Reef City where the PSL will honour the League's finest players at a glittering function.

The nominees in all the categories – including the cups – have been finalised.

Siyabonga Nomvete, David Mathebula and Siyabonga Sangweni are the front runners for the coveted PSL Footballer of the Year award – a prize that comes with a R250 000 cheque for the winner.

Below is a list of nominees in all the categories:

Yeh it is good to see no animals in this list...now i guess the stupid Bobby azz-lickers will see what we mean when we say their players are a bunch of COWS who are only best in the eyes of the stupid chimpanzees.

Kante when is the people of mzanzi going to give Andile Jali all the respect he deserves, i mean no one is closer to this boy but still no one recognizes that. He and Ace Manyisa deserves better, they helped their team to another treble.

Teko Modise should've been withdrawn from that list mas'ringa i waarheid, in favour of even u-Lucky Lekgwathi who rose to the occassion and stood shoulders above everyone else to lift his troops when all was lost, not once but all the time till the end.

Shabba won player of the season award at Naturena and the prize is almost equal to what PSL player of season receives so why should we bother about Chiefs players not being on the list. We don't need these awards to prove that we are a biggest team in Africa.

Sangweni must be player of the season because of his consistence performance throughout the season and has won a treble.
