Zuma, who turns 37 on June 23, ran the Sundowns defence ragged and even set up Kermit Erasmus' goal, which effectively sealed the tie.
Hunt was pleased with Zuma' contribution in his 79 minutes in the field.
"He only played half the season because he was injured, but you know these Zulus they come back because they are strong … look at Siyabonga Nomvete as well," Hunt quips.
"I thought Zuma was magnificent in the final and he was running all over. We played him on the left side because we didn't have anyone on the left, but still he played very well for us," he continues.
Hunt is also delighted that the Tshwane side will again participate in the CAF Confederations Cup by virtue of winning the Nedbank Cup.
"I think that's vital for me as a coach, that's where I want to be and it is where we want to play football, so we are fortunate that we will play in the Confederations Cup.
"I remember the last time we lost to FUS De Rabat from Morocco [in 2010] and they went on to win the cup, so we can judge ourselves there. It is a great competition," Hunt adds.

hey Zim,
Zuma has won leagues and cups during his top flight career in Europe (Denmark). He had achieved what May Mahlangu had last season. Zuma had also won player of the year in the same European country.
