Larsen can't wait to face Pirates

Phunya Sele Sele will take on the League Champions after they squeezed into the top eight at the end of the current campaign, and Larsen says it is the perfect fixture for his side for a number of reasons.   "It is a great game for us because it will give us an excellent feel for where we are," Larsen told KickOff.com. "There is no better game to do that in than against the champions, the best team in the country, and having such a fixture so early invigorates the whole club.   "The players are excited by it, the fans, management, everybody knows we can start the season with a bang and get an early scalp. The confidence you can get from a win such as that can set you up for the whole season."   Larsen also confirmed that the club is almost ready to move into their new training facilities, the first time in the 43-year history of Celtic that they will have their own training ground.

We certainly hope to be in by the start of pre-season on June 20," the coach says.   "They are just making some minor adjustments to the change rooms, putting in the goal-posts and marking the fields. We will even have our own astro-turf pitch there.    "I must thank the management for the new facility, they have said all along they will go all out to make sure we have the best facilities possible and they have kept to their word."   Celtic will also take ownership of the Seisa Ramabodu Stadium in Bloemfontein once a multi-million refurbishment has been complete in mid-2014, leaving them with their own playing home as well.
