The Under-23 international has since signed a three-year contract with Amakhosi, after finalising the deal with the club football manager Bobby Motaung today.
The Umlazi-born goalkeeper revealed this morning that both AmaZulu and Amakhosi did the deal without his knowledge, and he was taken by surprise yesterday when he received the news that had already signed for Chiefs.
Khuzwayo now says he is looking forward to start his career at Naturena next season.
"Everything has been finalised with Bobby today and I have signed a three-year contract with Kaizer Chiefs," the player says.
Khuzwayo will have extremelly tough competition in the form of Bafana Bafana number-one Itumeleng Khune, although he insisted this morning that he does not want to sit on the bench, seeing himself as "one of the best goalkeepers in the land!". Do you think Khuzwayo can realistically challenge Khune for the no. 1 jersey at Chiefs? Have your say on our Facebook page HERE!
