Masehe has been brilliant for Stars this season in central midfield putting up his best season since returning to the club four years ago. His commanding showing has also attracted the attention of Bafana Bafana with a call-up likely for him when the team is announced on Thursday. Rantsi Mokoena, the Free State general manager confirms that they are 'good' with Masehe. "We have done a deal with him so he is staying," says Mokoena without giving details. "For now we are not done with all the contracts so I cannot be going into details about each player but we have already done deals with certain players," says Mokoena. Mokoena also insists that there hasn't been any official approach from any club regarding any of the players that are still under contract at the club. Celtic are said to be also keen on keeping Mzikayise Mashaba. "There hasn't been any club that has approached us as yet regarding any player," insists. Stars also have the contracts of Noah Chivuta, Boitumelo Sekgobela, Aleni Lebyane, Manti Moholo and Mpho Makola to deal with as they are all expiring in June.
