Leopards through in Confed Cup

Leopards through in Confederation Cup after beating Warri Wolves

Posted: 13 May 2012 Time: 05:43 pm

Black Leopards are through to the last 16 of the CAF Confederation Cup after they beat Warri Wolves 2-0 at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.

Leopards advanced to the next stage of the competition on the away goal rule, after they lost 3-1 in the first leg in Nigeria a fortnight ago.

Zimbabwean striker Kingston Nkatha proved to be the hero for Lidoda Duvha, scoring in each half for the win.

The home side deserved the win as they dominated from the first to last whistle, with midfielder Raymond Monama a marvel to watch in the middle of the park.

Despite their success in Africa, Leopards are still fighting relegation at home, and have to win both their remaining matches in the Premiership.

How hypocritical this is, all credit should go to the Zimbabwean mentor Sunday Chidzambwa the man is a genius, having led Leopards in DRC now he repeats the trick. The man is arguably one of the best coaches in Africa having also led Dynamos FC to the champions league final in 1998. kingstone Nkatha, well what can I say about Zimbabweans they are a class above the rest

@Brown you seem to be very lost, this is the last 16, Leopards are going to be paired against one of the eight loosers from the champions league. Do you guys ever read anything, anyway its understandable I wouldnt expect you to know with little success SA clubs face in these inter club competitions
