Pienaar's warrant withdrawn

Steven Pienaar warrant withdrawn

Posted: 24 April 2012 Time: 04:12 pm

The warrant for Steven Pienaar's arrest for alleged outstanding speeding fines has been withdrawn, KickOff.com can reveal.

News coming out of the Bafana Bafana midfielder's camp is that the issue is now in the hands of Pienaar's lawyer.

Media reports alleged that Pienaar was caught speeding twice in 11 days, on the same road, and he was said to have dodged a court date.

The warrant was issued on Monday and according to UK law Pienaar was obliged to let authorities know who was behind the wheel.

But news of the warrant for his arrest caught the Everton star by surprise – he had no idea that there were alleged outstanding speeding fines.

I guess that the warrant was withdrawn by Manchester united haters, because Pienaar's goal denied United a full 3-points
