The Amakhosi fans are still reeling from the loss that has all but halted Chiefs' push for the League title. "We would like to apologise to the fans that have supported the club through and through. The fans are dying for this club and as players we are aware that they are hurting at this stage," Motaung Junior tells the club's website. He is adamant, though, that the players are giving their all for the team. "We are quite aware of the responsibility that comes with wearing the gold and black [jersey] and I am sure I speak for all the guys when I say that we do not take this lightly. Things have not been working our way but sometimes these things happen in football. "We have been working very hard in training together with the technical team to turn things around. It is our intention to win each and every game to give back to our chairman and supporters who have supported us through and through," he adds. Chiefs, currently sixth on the PSL standings, will play title-chasers SuperSport United on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.
