Limikani Mzava offered advice by Monaco

Limbikani Mzava has not been offered a deal by As Monaco, but the French club did offer him advice following his trial recently.

The Malawian international, who belongs to Bloemfontein Celtic, has concluded his trial at Monaco and he is returning to South Africa on Friday.

KickOff.com got feedback today from Mzava’s representatives Complete Footballers.

“The boy is coming back tomorrow morning to join his national team for a tour of China,” says Claudio Bollo.

“The report from the club is very positive; they like him a lot and felt he is a very good defender with a lot of potential but they feel that he is not tall enough for the size of a central defender they are looking for.”

Mzava, though, was offered advice to consider switching from being a defender to central midfield.

“They further recommend in the report that he could have a big future as a central defensive midfielder as he wins the ball cleanly and has a very good passing technique,” he says.

Monaco further stated in the report that they would like to have another look at him once he gets a regular run at Celtic, where he has not played this season because he is not registered.

“They would like to see how he progresses once he starts playing at his club and they praised his professionalism, dedication at training and leadership qualities,” Bollo concludes.

Mzava could have signed for Israeli side Hapoel Tel Aviv in January, but Celtic and Tel Aviv failed to agree terms.
