Lebyane: Stars will reach the Final

Free State Stars striker Aleni Lebyane believes they will reach the Nedbank Cup Final

Free State Stars striker Aleni Lebyane is convinced that his side will reach the Nedbank Cup Final despite being drawn against Mamelodi Sundowns in the semi-final.

Having beaten Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs in this competition Ella Koto will travel to Pretoria to face Sundowns, but that is not a concern for the Free State outfit.   "We are happy about the draw,  we just have to go out there and prepare for them the same way we did against Pirates and Chiefs," says the striker.   "It's another motivation playing against Sundowns, we are always playing finals, we started with Pirates and Chiefs now its Sundowns.   "We are definitely going to the Final, what we need to do is to give them the respect they deserve and concentrate throughout the match. We want to win the Nedbank Cup at least to have something for the team this season," he adds.   Lebyane says their confidence of reaching the Final has been boosted by their remarkable results against Chiefs and Pirates and that they now believe they can go all the way and lift the trophy.   "The motivation is always there in the team, we work as a team and we don't have individuals, if we can play the same way we did against Chiefs and Pirates I think we can go all the way," he says.

"if we can play the same way we did against Chiefs and Pirates I think we can go all the way," Jy is dronk, u have to up your game against Downs.

With Pirates u played against 9 and a half players with Mabena and Mcfatty playing. Well Chimps, is rather less than average even a Vodacom team can match them pound for pound. Save in the looks department. Yeye, Swe and Katsande will take the title hands down.

Sundows must for now focus on our next league games. The free state game is still far away. We need to win league games to achieve our goals. We need to keep our momentum for not loosing any since the beginning of the year

Anele, I for one do not see why FSS should go through to clinch this trophy. You've obviously beaten the best team (OPFC) and followed with the second best (Chips) and I do not see why you should struggle against a lowly rated team.

One another plus for FSS is that they aren't under pressure unlike these morons who since OPFC and Amakhosi aren't there seized the opportunity to make noise.

I am tired of this noise. But I know that you are capable of silencing them just like we did we others last month to an extend that they show their coach the door. Phela those people were making noise of how they will win treble, blah, blah, blah and then?

Be careful young man, Downs is not those 2 dinosaurs from Soweto!! Wow at least you FSS has managed to recruit a substantial number of disillusioned fans! One guy once told me an intersting story about how dinosaurs became extinct. When other animals implored them to move to high ground because floods were coming and that they gonna sink into the ground due to their massive weight their ego reminded them that they can't be fearful of anything on earth, that is the reason we nowadays only hear of their fossils. This simply elastrates how 3 dinosaurs from Soweto shall go into extinction and even the smallest animals on earth like FSS seems to think they can challenge every other team in the universe. Brace yourselves for a rude awakening FSS, Downs and the 2 Dinosaurs you are refering to are not the same. Take a piece of paper and make a list of Downs players and Coach and also do the same on the 2 dinosaurs you referred to and tell us if these words indeed came from your loud mouth.
