Dino Ndlovu and Calvin Kadi were on target for their respective clubs over the weekend.

Scorers – in Israel and Greece Ndlovu netted his fifth on the season as Israeli side Bnei Yehuda defeated Maccabi Netanya 1-0, while Kadi was on target yet again for Veria as they beat Anagennisi Epanomis 1-0 in the Greek second tier.

England

Bafana Bafana skipper Steven Pienaar put in another lively performance as Everton defeated West Brom 2-0 to move up to seventh in the English Premiership table, ahead of Merseyside rivals Liverpool.

But Andrew Surman and Kagisho Dikgacoi were on the losing sides, with Norwich City going down 2-1 at Fulham and Crystal Palace on the wrong end of a 3-0 hammering at home to Nottingham Forest in the Championship.

There was a comeback for Dean Furman at Oldham Athletic in League One after two months on the sidelines, but his side lost 1-0 at Notts County to stay mid-table.

Turkey

Bradley Grobler's Goztepe ended their three-match winning streak with a 3-0 loss to Elazigspor in the Turkish second division.

Slovakia

Young right-back Waseem Isaacs was part of a great win at his new side Zemplin Michalovce, who hammered FK LAFC Lučenec 4-0.

Belgium

Bafana right-back Anele Ngcongca returned from suspension as Genk lost 2-0 at Club Brugge, while Siboniso Gaxa played the full 90 in Lierse's 1-1 away draw with OH Leuven.

Youngster Ayanda Patosi also got a run, playing the final 20 minutes as Lokeren were held 1-1 by Zulte-Waregem.

Those overseas stars not in action included the injured Kamohelo Mokotjo (Feyenoord) and Aaron Mokoena (Portsmouth), and the suspended Daylon Claasen (Lierse), while Thulani Serero was not in the match day squad for Ajax Amsterdam.

Tsepo Masilela returned to the bench for Spanish La Liga side Getafe after two months on the sidelines, while Lance Davids (Lierse) and Kgosi Ntlhe (Peterborough United) were also unused substitutes.
