KickOffGhana closing down

KickOffGhana closing down

Posted: 2 April 2012 Time: 12:05 pm

It is with great regret that we inform our readers that KickOffGhana.com will be closing down as from tomorrow.

These challenging financial times have meant that KICK OFF as a brand has had to make some very difficult decisions and, coupled with the struggle to secure advertising in Ghana, the call was made to close this section of the website down.

At this time we would like to thank KickOffGhana.com editor Michael Oti Adjei for his incredible dedication and hard work over the last four years.

Michael has been incredibly loyal to KICK OFF and his desire to keep readers informed about the latest, breaking news on all things Ghana football has been an honour to be associated with.

We wish Michael all the best in his future endeavours and will remain in close contact with him.

For those wanting to stay up to date with the latest happenings in Ghanaian football, you can follow him on Twitter @OtiAdjei

If this is not a 1st of april joke then it is unfortunate! I'm from kickoffnigeria a nd i love to check out this site to keep abrest with football news from Ghana! I will also mention that the fans had not been too supportive as well, this site wasn't well patrionised by Ghanaian fans as compared to the local fans in kickoffsouthafrica and kickoffnigeria. Too sad!

Thank YOU for starting this blog. Me and my fneirds have already told so many people about it. It's nice to have intelligent dialogue and read all the different points of view. Makes a change from mindless gossip and sex/hook-up sites. We need to discuss things that matter as well.
