Edward Manqele is adamant Free State Stars can beat Orlando Pirates again today.
The teams lock horns in a League encounter at Orlando Stadium at 7.30pm. Ea Lla Koto kicked Pirates out of the Nedbank Cup on Saturday, with Manqele and Paulus Masehe getting the goals for Stars.
"Pirates can be beaten like any team. We made life difficult for them on Saturday and we can do that again," Manqele insists.
Manqele says he knows the Pirates defence will be all over him to make sure he does not find the back of the net again, but he says that will never stop him scoring.
"I want to score in each and every game that I play. I know that that game will not be easy since we have just beaten them. But we have players who are disciplined and hungry for success, and that has guided us to where we are today," he says.
Manqele, who has been scoring goals as if his life depends on it recently, and racing to the top of the scorers' chart, says winning tomorrow's game against Pirates will boost Stars' moral in the championship race.
"We will go to second place on the log should we win that game. We still have a chance to win the League," he says.
