Juju reassures Bucs fans

Thulasizwe Mbuyane's Nedbank Cup injury not serious

Orlando Pirates midfielder Thulasizwe Mbuyane has dispelled fears that he might have suffered a serious injury.

Mbuyane was forced to leave the pitch in the first half of the Nedbank Cup match against Ethekwini Coastal on Saturday because of what was suspected to be a calf injury.

But 'Juju' assures The Ghost that he will be available for the Soweto Derby against Kaizer Chiefs this Saturday.

"It's not a serious injury; I can walk now," he tells KickOff.com. "I am going to see the physio on Monday but I am confident I will be up and running by Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Pirates will miss Andile Jali for the League game against Santos in Cape Town on Wednesday as he is suspended.

Jali received his third booking during the Nedbank Cup game on Saturday.

Football fans/supporters are hard to please.

Last week I said I would rather start with Mbuyane than with Thandani Ntshumayelo & got some negative responses but today I saw many people being unhappy that Leal brought in Thandani as they feel he's defensive midfielder.

Juju u mst get well soon &quickly b4 the derby because even though we don't hv the coach bt that won't stop bucs 4rm humiliating their african neighbours(zimbabwe family business fc)i think pirates should get another star after beating their african counterparts who boasts the likes of katsande,zvasiya,sweswe,jambo,amidu there's 8more that i haven't counted so ther's no way that pirates is gonna lose this one.
