Six-month ban for Joseph Malongoane
Posted: 1 March 2012
Platinum Stars midfielder Joseph Malongoane will have to rely on his teammates for transport after his driving licence was suspended for six months.
This after he was found guilty at Bela Bela Magistrate for speeding in Limpopo last December, having been caught doing over 200km/h in a 60km/h zone.
Malongoane was also sentenced to prison for 13 months, but that was suspended for four years.
He is the second Stars player to be caught speeding in the past six months. Thuso Phala was found guilty after doing 195km/h in a 120km/h zone.
