The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was on a receiving end of a tackle by a teammate during training on February 11 and hurt his knee and ankle in the process.
Despite his recovery, ‘Shabba’ will miss the Nedbank Cup last 32 clash against Cape Town All Stars on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.
“I have recovered very well and I should be back playing in a week or so,” he says.
“It has not been easy watching from the stands, but I must thank our technical team because they have worked miracles on my injuries,” Tshabalala continues.
Meanwhile, Tshabalala has wished Bafana Bafana well for their match tonight against Senegal at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.
“It may be a friendly game to others, but the players know it is very important for us to win this game. I hope we will win tonight and good luck to the boys,” concludes Tshabalala, who was not selected to the team because of injuries.
