'Shabba' recovers from injuries

Siphiwe Tshabalala has fully recovered from injuries for Kaizer Chiefs

Posted: 29 February 2012 Time: 12:52 pm

Siphiwe Tshabalala has fully recovered from injuries that kept him on the sidelines for the past two weeks.

The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was on a receiving end of a tackle by a teammate during training on February 11 and hurt his knee and ankle in the process.

Despite his recovery, ‘Shabba’ will miss the Nedbank Cup last 32 clash against Cape Town All Stars on Saturday at the FNB Stadium.

“I have recovered very well and I should be back playing in a week or so,” he says.

“It has not been easy watching from the stands, but I must thank our technical team because they have worked miracles on my injuries,” Tshabalala continues.

Meanwhile, Tshabalala has wished Bafana Bafana well for their match tonight against Senegal at the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban.

“It may be a friendly game to others, but the players know it is very important for us to win this game. I hope we will win tonight and good luck to the boys,” concludes Tshabalala, who was not selected to the team because of injuries.

Wellcomw back Shabba. The best left back in the country; the only african player to have recorded the opening goal in a WC competition; the first player to have scored the first WC goal on African soil. When you were lonked with a move to sunclowns the trueth actually came out that you are the best left footed player in the country. When you were linked with a move to pie-rats its clueless supporters where already celebrating the PSL championship and the CAF championship claiming you will be the best signing to have happened to their team since its establishment.

FRANCO: on what basis is Shabba the best left winger not left back wena man eish uyazihlaza maan.

He has never tasted any championship in his life. kanti emzansi how do we define best kanti. clearly the best cannot be rated R2.2M by a greek team that rated Sox R8.8M.

Clearly the best cannot fail trials at Forest n Palace.

Apparently VV feels Jimmy Tau is not ready to play(2 weeks) as he missed pre mid season training, but Shabba wil be ready in a week from injury.

That's why I decided that 2011-2012 I won't support efforts from this coach as he has agenda. He is trying to give Tlou game time @ the expense of Jimmy but the boy is nowhere to Jimmy's level.

@ TP dat's true my vriend, if you remember the combination between Tau and Dladla was world class including Dladla was scoring every game on the rightern side and for why did he let Masenamela joining a local team who he was combining very well with Tshabalala we also don't know, dat mean he 's not somebody you can put trust on him definetely killing your team softely, just a liability in your camp.

@ Franco i think you need to drink your medication before you write more toilet in this forum in your HELL were did you hear dat pirates was after tshabalala, o tagile ke a go bona.

@ Franco,

Buti, you sound disperate. Nyawana scored the 1st goal in the world cup because SA v/s Mexico game was the 1st. Secondly, he is the 1st African player to score a WC goal on the African soil because WC has never been played in Africa before. Therefore, the so0called achievements you are highliting are just an obsession with mediocrity. I would have loved if you mentioned that he is a league medalist for example. No wonder fish & chipy still believes that he did wonders in the WC & BB never progresses, its people like you that reward what Malema saw in that BBC guy pants.
______

Welcome back Nyawaristo, I hope you will ask the BB nyanga to send his boys to steal anyones right leg that is decent enough to kick a ball for at list 2 metres.

By the way how does one get injured on the leg that is none existant.

. Free State Stars is the student who is always good with poems but
knows
nothing about books.

. Bidvest Wits is the student who knows too much, passes all the extra
