Aboagye urges Stars to deal with criticisms

Former Ghana international Felix Aboagye says players of the national team must learn to deal with criticisms in the wake of Asamoah Gyan's reaction to his recent criticism.

Aboagye claims the cricitism comes with representing Ghana at the highest level and has urged the players to learn to cope with that.

"In football many things will happen to you and if you want to go forward you must accept whatever that comes your way," he told JOY Sports.

Gyan announced he was taking a temporary break on Friday but Aboagye feels that will hurt his career.

"When you quit the national team it will affect your career, we all need the national team while the national team also needs us."

Gyan meanwhile is due back for Ghana's double 2014 World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zambia in June according to GFA vice-presdent Jordan Anagbla.
