Nike have released the new Brazil national team jersey, affectionately known as Amerelinha, 'The Little Yellow One'.

Check out a gallery of the kit HERE!

The new Brazil kit for 2012/13 celebrates Jeitinho Brasileiro – 'The Brazilian way' – the spirit that encompasses the resilient, creative and innovative approach that has helped make Brazil such at successful footballing nation.

The fabric of the new shorts is made with 100 percent recycled polyester, while the fabric of the jerseys is made with at least 96 percent recycled polyester. Kits are made using an average of 13 recycled plastic bottles.

The new kit marks a return to tradition with a classic, authentic design that recognizes the country's glorious football history.

The shirt boasts a clean yellow body and a classic V-neck collar with a thin green trim. The shirt also features deep green cuffs, which can be turned over to reveal the rallying cry of Nascido Para Jogar Futebol ('Born to Play Football') written in the style of Pichacao, a distinctive form of urban graffiti.

Printed on the inside of the back of the neck is a graphic by Brasilian artist Don Torelly, depicting an outline of the Brasilian federation's crest containing the Southern Cross, a constellation of stars that was seen over Rio de Janeiro when the Brazilian republic was founded in 1889.

The design of the bold green numbers on the shirts is inspired by the numbers on Brazil's national bank notes.

Looks like all the previous editions and I guess it's because there is nothing much you can do with the Nike range of kits. The designs are always similar.

I like the Puma as an apparel, but I hate its marketing strategy, especially in Africa. It is based on quantity over quality- Puma have the best designers than both Nike and Adidas, truth be told- but they kill their own quality designs by overemphasis, over supply, and have no regard for their brand when they choose a team- that is why they will always linger behind their neighbours Addidas. and their relationship with Safa is one of their most recent mediocrities- the case of when dumper meets dump!

Nike is stillnthe best sportsing apparel ahead of its closest rival Addidas- Addidas is poor when designing sporting codes, but no apparel brand can beat Addidas Retro-campaign (the Addidas with a Green leaf logo)- so while nike is futuristic, Addidas is Retro, and Puma is just confused as it runs all over the place without a clear seasonal campaign or concept. As for this new brazilian jersey, I will have to agree that there is nothing new except the emphasis on Green values (Global warming message)!

My final verdict goes with Addidas as the best!
