Ideye's brace lifts Dynamo, Oba sees red

Posted: 2012-02-08 15:20

Super Eagles duo of Brown Ideye and Obafemi Martins enjoyed mixed-fortunes for Dynamo Kiev and Rubin Kazan in Monday's fixtures at the ongoing Marbella Cup 2012 in Spain.

Both men were on parade for their respective sides and Ideye struck twice as Dynamo Kiev defeated Guangzhou Evergrande 4-0 to secure a final ticket.

On the other hand, Martins was expelled after 51 minutes for a bad tackle on former Rubin player Murawski. The midfielder broke his leg, was forced to leave the pitch hurriedly and taken to a Marbella Hospital.

Rubin Kazan however went on to hand Polish club Lech a 3-1 defeat to advance to the final of the Marbella Cup, but will miss the services of their Nigerian import in the final match against Ideye's Dynamo Kiev on February 9.

Zambia beat Ghana Silly. I wanna go out now and take seven chilled 1759.

I said it earlier if people could remember , that 'Ghana thinks that winning the nations cup is like going to market to buy onions and crayfish' : how many forunites remember this ??????

And yesterday I asked, 'if Ghana had been in Ivory coast group at the 2010 world cup ( involving Portugal,Brazil and North Korea), would they have qualified ? , how many forunites remember this ????
Most times we talk carelessly but we're very precise.

Its Zambia Vs Ivory Coast for final and Ivory Coast wins the cup.
