Ghana bring in Addy for Zambia clash

Ghana defender Lee Addy has got his first start for the Black Stars in the Africa Cup of Nations semi-final against Zambia today.  

Addy comes in for Masahudu Alhassan and is one of three changes made by Goran Stevanovic for Wednesday's game at the Estadio de Bata. Kick-off is at 5:00pm local time (16:00GMT).

Derek Boateng also starts in place of the injured Emmanuel Agyemang Badu while Jordan Ayew comes in for Sulley Muntari.

Starting line-up: Adam Kwarasey, Samuel Inkoom, Lee Addy, John Mensah, John Boye, Anthony Annan, Andre Ayew, Derek Boateng, Asamoah Gyan, Kwadwo Asamoah, Jordan Ayew

Subs: Daniel Adjei, Daniel Opare, John Paintsil, Masahudu Alhassan, Isaac Vorsah, Jonathan Mensah, Mohammed Abu, Sulley Muntari, Charles Takyi, Prince Tagoe, Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu, Ernest Sowah

So much for winning the nation cup, i said that this Ghana team has been riding on luck and today the luck has run out. The team has been playing rubbish from the beginning of this tournament, overrated players as if they have Toures or Drogbas in their team. Useless team and deserve to loose.

I guess i have proven you right, so much of your patriotism that you can't see the loopholes in your team. The team has virtually played nothing from the beginning of this tournament and this is the different between Nigerians and Ghanaian. Nigerian can take criticism and build from the errors others sees in their team but you guys are so patriotic that any criticism is seen as envy.

Patriotism blinded us we couldn't se loopholes in our team.We are not there yet,the last time we won the nations cup was in 82 which is about 3 decades ago.this should have been an opportunity for us since the traditional big guns are absent.Don't see us winning afcon again in the nearest future cos this boys are now ageing accept the ayews.Remember the friendlies in london against the 419 boys exposed some loopholes in our team but due to patriotism we thought we were up there.Now we are laughing stock.
