Ghanaian midfielder Edwin Gyimah is ready to begin his career at SuperSport United after finally receiving his work-permit.

The 22-year-old signed with United in December after Gavin Hunt spotted him during the All Africa Games in Mozambique.

“My papers have been sorted and now I can focus on fighting for my place in the starting line-up,” Gyimah tells KickOff.com.

“I am enjoying every moment of my stay at SuperSport and am grateful for all the support I have received from the technical team and the players.”

Hunt has nothing but praise for Gyimah, saying: “He is one of the most talented players I have worked with in my career. He is a great addition to our squad.”

Meanwhile, Tshwane rivals Mamelodi Sundowns have sent midfielder Musa Issah back to Senegal after he failed to impress during trials.

However, The Brazilians are expected to recall Malawian striker Ishmael Thindwa in June after he also attended trials with the club recently.
