The current Nedbank Cup holders Orlando Pirates will kick off the defence of their title with an away fixture against Vodacom League side, Ethekwini Coastal FC, following the draw on Monday night.
Bucs' perennial rivals Kaizer Chiefs have a home fixture against Cape Town All Stars, while the Mpumalanga Derby between Black Aces and Witbank Spurs will certainly be exciting to watch.
United FC have to wait for February 18, when they will find out the team they will face with Gauteng’s Vardos FC playing either Umthatha Liverpool or A1 Stars FC from the Eastern Cape in a play-off match.
Clubs will battle it out for the main prize of R6 million as well as a spot in next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
Little known Baroka FC’s conquests in last year’s event saw them account for two PSL giants in the form of Moroka Swallows and Kaizer Chiefs.
Who will be the Baroka FC of 2012?
