South Africa will play Senegal at the Moses Mabhida Stadium later this month, Safa have confirmed.

Bafana Bafana take on the ‘Lions of Teranga’ on February 29 in an international friendly.

Senegal, who performed dismally at the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations culminating in a first round exit, are expected to bring all their star players on the trip such as Newcastle United striking duo Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse.

Kick-off time will be determined at a later stage, but it is expected to be in the evening.

Hopefully we can have a Close to full strength Bafaba squad for once...Somma won't be yet. My team for Senegal Clash in Amazing Durban!!
Khune/Josephs, Ngongca, Khumalo, Gould, Masilela, Jali, Claasen, Pienaar, Serero, Mahlangu and Mphela. SA's got great talent people, lets back the boys!!

That Old SAFA Official like Durbanites and I wonder why? or maybe the Magosha down der are more less that in cape,

@ JJR13, forget about Khumalo in the starting line up Sangweni he 's our reliable one, i just wish him to bring back Scott, Phungwayo, mathoho and Mokotjo.

But again Hail Durban it's definetely rock.

I personally wont attend any Bafunny games if three of my grieviences are met:

- Pitso fired
- Competitive game with a non-African team organised abroad (i have money to travel anywhere in the world to attend this game)
- Safa's whole admin reshuffled!

Bra Aubs: 2012-02-06 11:46

In Durban, we love our football but we are not fools, SAFA must take this game somewhere else as we have no time for this rubbish team. Everytime they run low on support they turn to us, when everything is going well, they play all their games in JHB why dont they take this game to Bloem?

JJR13: 2012-02-06 13:07

@Nebo, yes sangweni is really solid...i just thought Gould and Khumalo work well as a combo. Mathoho is very talented 4 sure. That guy is gonna be awesome!! He's got such good composure for a young guy.

I'm tired of Saffa's not supporting Bafana year in year out...they only call themselves fans when Bafana r doing well...that's cheap...talking negative all the time isn't gonna help the team perform any better. The only good thing is that it can get Pitso outta the hotseat...i really don't rate him as a head coach. Igesund and Hunt are the most succesful South African coaches and have been able to do so consistently and not always with the best players...we need guys like that in the job.

@JJR, I don't understand you when you said Safa Doesn't support Bafana, if Yes by What?

Because He was been supported since he took over, He also use all fifa dates against international friendly the only thing he must just stop playing all friendly at homes let them uses this fifa dates to play two away games in Eastern Africa either Nigeria or Cameroon to prepare 2013 ACN.

I think Pitso can be good spokesperson than being a coach
