Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has dropped John Paintsil for the Africa Cup of Nations quarter-final meeting against Tunisia later today.

The Serbian has gone with popular opinion and dropped the experienced right-back after criticism of his recent displays in the group stages.

In his place Samuel Inkoom will play at right-back. John Mensah will return to captain the Black Stars in the center of defence alongside John Boye, who has been the most impressive Ghanaian defender at the tournament. It means there is no place for Isaac Vorsah.

Anthony Annan starts in midfield alongside Agyemang Badu with Dede Ayew, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah, completing the midfield. Asamoah Gyan will again play as the lone striker.

Ghana: Adam Kwarasey, Samuel Inkoom, Masahudu Alhassan, John Boye, John Mensah, Anthony Annan, Agyemang Badu, Dede Ayew, Sulley Muntari, Kwadwo Asamoah, Asamoah Gyan
