On the Road to being crowned the Kings of Africa the Black Stars of Ghana will have to battle the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
The story of the Black Stars and Eagles resembles that of a Profilic Bird Hunter obsessed with decorating his Aviary with different species of the fabled King of the Sky.
From the boots of Asamoah Gyan and Dede Ayew the Eagles of Mali have already been taught flying lessons in the ongoing Africa Cup Of Nations.
So up next for the Black Stars on their wing clipping mission is the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, an ancient breed capable of trophy winning maneuvers in the 21st Century.
And of all the Country's left at the tournament they are the only ones to have drunk from the exilir of success in 21st Century Africa, winning at their own backyard in the 2004 edition.
Both teams have not awoken the pyrotechnics with their performances at Gabon and Equatorial Guinea so far but they did what is important by qualifying for the quarterfinals.
The Black Stars as Group D winners while the Carthage Eagles settled for second behind the crowd propelled Gabon. This quarter-final tie presents both teams the opportunity to send clear warning signals in their bid to be crowned the Kings Of Africa.
