Ghana coach Goran Stevanovic has backed Anthony Annan to come good in the quarter-final meeting against Tunisia.
The Ghana midfielder lost his mother on Thursday but has opted to stay with the Black Stars till their competition is over.
And Stevanovic has no qualms about playing him insisting Annan would be in perfect shape for the game.
"It is a really difficult moment for him. But all have supported him a lot. And that can be big motivation for him to play better, to play more for his [departed] mother and to fight," the Ghana coach said.
“I am sure that she loved that he [Annan] played for the national team."
Ghana players will wear black arm bands as a sign of respect to the player's mother.
