Mmotong: Nothing can break me

Koketso Mmotong says he has reason to believe that his time at Mamelodi Sundowns benefited him.
In three-and-a-half seasons at the club, ‘Mnini' only managed a mere six starts and scored two goals but Mmotong is adamant something positive came out of it.
"I don't feel my time at the club was wasted because I learned a lot of things," he tells KickOff.com.
"My time at Sundowns taught me that there are no guarantees in football and you just have to be strong. I'm strong now and I don't think there is anything that can break me. So from that point of view I do feel I didn't waste time at Sundowns," he insists.
The 32-year-old, however, admits he is glad he has finally left the club.
"It is something I wanted [to leave Sundowns] so I'm okay. I wanted out. I didn't expect to drop down a division, though, but I will bounce back," he declares.
Mmotong, who has joined Mpumalanga Black Aces, further argues that he didn't fail at Sundowns, contrary to what some believe.
"Someone can say I failed, but I don't think I failed. I did well in the matches I played for the team so I didn't fail. If you judge me on the matches I played, then I did well so you can't say I failed because I didn't play, that's my view.
"It is easier to say you failed if you played and didn't do well, but in my case I didn't play and in the games I played I believe I did well," Mmotong asserts.
