Pattison to Santos, Mmotong to Aces

Posted: 2012-01-31 17:43

Mamelodi Sundowns have handed clearances to the out-of-favour duo Matthew Pattison and Koketso Mmotong.

"Both players have been handed their clearances, with Pattison going to Santos while Mmotong has moved to Mpumalanga Black Aces," Sundowns spokemans Kabelo Mosito tells KickOff.com.

Both players have fallen out of favour at the club this season, with Mmotong having to train with the reserves. Pattison has been attempting to win a move to the United Kingdom, but has settled for a six-month loan in the PSL.

I remember when chiefs telling the world that they have signed mmotong and then he made a u-turn to sunflower and now to nvela! Haha that's the price u pay for dishonest. I'm not sorry 4 u.

Mamoduwe : 2012-01-31 18:32

Matthew Pattison I never saw your best football after the 2010 World Cup, I wonder why? Anyway thank for your contributions.

Koketso Mmotong, I don't believe you are a bad footballer at ALL, its just that you were never a SAMBA thespian, however I wanna send my deepest gratitude to your role in the Yellow colours. GOOD LUCK TO THE BOTH OF THEM ON YOUR FUTURE ENDEAVOURS.

Sir Neeskens all the way!

Yellow I Was, Yellow I Am & Yellow I Will Remain! (Happily so)

Yesesss! Downs have really changed for the better ne!
Only a single quality signing is a sign of maturity indeed, I can safely say "it's in the bag".

Yellow is the color!

TP : 2012-01-31 19:03

Myk!

Jah neh,Mmotong must still be paying the price for that.

But on the other hand that shows how stupid Chiefs management were by counting chickens before they hatched.

You can even write an articles about the blunders that were done, even after people have been in this business for so long.

brazilitto : 2012-01-31 19:18

Handed their clearance as in fired by Sundowns?
Damn- this Neeskens know what he wants out of players- if he calls you a cow- you're a cow.
Anyways, Matty gave us his best football under the mentorship of Stoichkov- who can forget his deadly combination with nyandora!?! those two made teams sweat. only parerra knows why he overlooked him when he was clearly the best middle fielder at that time- it's unfortunate that Sundowns didn't win the league after sending 8 players from their starting 11 to the "training camps".
I wish Matty all the best in life- may he return to UK as his heart desires- he deserves it.
IN NEESKENS WE TRUST, IN SUNDOWNS- I REMAIN FOREVER YELLOW BY CHOICE.

BrianG: 2012-02-01 00:41

all the best to Patty you served us well

brazilitto : 2012-02-01 06:59

@Sizwe the sky kid..yellow I also remain. In love is Choice. I wonder what negative false stuff the media will report about Downs from now onwards.
I know 1 will say we need a defender but my point of view is dat once that yellow "space ship" machine is well oiled. Defending will be done while we piling dose waves of attack.

Wandile : 2012-02-01 07:17

Indeed we wish Matty and Mmotong well in their future endeavours. The developments at Downs are a sign of a coach who IS IN CHARGE. We now pray that Trott doesn't pull an an ace up his corrupt/greedy sleeve and next thing we hear is that SIR NEESKENS is leaving at the end of the season after lifting the league title.

YELO SECHABA until some Chairman n Manager start spaking to their hooligan supporters with respect.

Wandile : 2012-02-01 07:25

My fellow DAWANA's I had a REVELATION gister evenning: The days of SHOE-SHINE-N-PIANO, SOEK-SOEK, GA MINA GA WENA are upon us. Where even our defenders like Oskido Ntagwae (may his soul R.I.P) n OJ dribbled strikers and scored goals strikers envied.

In that REVELATION the YELO SECHABA was packed ko Loftus and singing in unision "KOLOYI YAMA SANDAWANA ANA WAYI NAMELA" "KOLOYI KOLOYI KOLOYI YAMA SANDAWANA"

YELO SECHABA until Qubule and Sithole reveals their Zoo handler.

Mfana Wa Style: 2012-02-01 08:38

Now thats the way to go Trott, atleast now your points stand at -75%, at this rate, i think you will have a 10% in the next 2 season, otherwise usakolota baba!!!!!!!!

The Game: 2012-02-01 09:28

I think Mr/Mrs Editor must be careful when using some of the words: handed clearance as if they were given away freely and if Mmotong has been training with the reserves simply means he wasn't including in a quota of the players that are labelled first team players: Mmotong just like any other player has to work hard to deserve the selection: we put eleven players not seven , so common sense wise if Mmotong is not in the line up then someone else is there: I'm tired of hearing so called fans, saying Downs destroy players careers while every P.S.L team signs more than eleven players , so how can all the registered players play: THE ANSWER IS ...by hard work, dedication, commitment and not by luck: You work harder than your colleague...Downs is not a political party where they look at your face and say, you can a youth president (ouch that hurts)....it's the survival of the fittest...and the strongest...

Mthondolovhani: 2012-02-01 09:49

I applauud our Coach for one thing, he can tell who is a gud player n who is not. While his Pattison guy was a regular at Sundowns i cudnt stop complaining coz i culd c he is never a gud player, thanx Mr Coach.. Same applies to the likes of Nyandoro, Cale etc. Now any lineup which takes the pitch m okay coz i knw there are no cows anymore.

Sphiwe: 2012-02-01 11:11

People wanted to kill Pitso for not calling this rubbish to the national team. South african media its and so called South African football supporters are pathetic to say the least

msp : 2012-02-01 11:41

Koketso Mmotong my man,you made a biggest mistake of your life by not going to Swallows for the love of money at Sundowns ,now you are going straight to mvela;mogoe of the season!sis man

zimi: 2012-02-01 13:44

I feel sorry sorry for Pattison because he is a young and talented player for what is happening to him,but any it will pass.
