Ahmed Musa opens CSKA's account

Posted: 2012-01-31 10:33

Nigeria forward Ahmed Musa opened his CSKA Moscow goal account in Monday's 1-0 win over Hungarian side, Videoton in a friendly match at Marbella in Spain.

The ex-Kano Pillar speedster joined the Army team for 8m Euros (about N1.6bn) in the ongoing transfer window and has wasted no time getting off the mark.

He hit target on 15 minutes and lasted all 90 minutes of the friendly.

In the stands to see Musa open his CSKA account was Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho, whose side face CSKA Moscow in the second round of the Champions League next month.

That ugly urchin in the picture is definately NOT Ahmed MUSA. That is our age cheat captain Kenneth Omeruo who claimed to be 17 at the time he played in Colombia 2011.

I am so excited about the fact that unlike previous seasons, our young players are being snapped up by top clubs in major leagues.

Musa at CSKA, Obasi at Schalke, Aluko at Rangers, Uchechi at Aberdeen, Ibrahim at Celtic, John Ogu at Unia Liera Portugal. The list keeps increasing daily. Good news at last. It can only get better!

Amata Plus: 2012-01-31 11:23

We only talk about age cheat when it is football! What about guys in universities who cut their ages to make NYSC?

@sly1, want to purge age cheating? Then start by ensuring you state your real age in every document you use for academics or employment purpose!

Amata Plus: 2012-01-31 11:27

@sly1, the ''ugly urchin'' is Ahmed Musa. This photograph was taken when we played England in Columbia 2011 U20 WYC. Omeruo was not in that team!

AMATA PLUS I have respect for you, so please no personal attacks. Those who know me know that I even added to my age so could be old enough to take JAMB 20 years ago.

As for the man in the picture, go to FIFA.com and look up the starting line up for Nigeria vs England. After you see your error, I will demand an apology for your mistake.

For your Info, the editor has already seen the mistake and REPLACED THE PICTURE

@sly1, you are such a dumb, look at what you are saying "Those who know me know that I even added to my age so could be old enough to take JAMB 20 years ago"....haha, bros age cheat is either ways,if you increase your age to achieve a desired goal ..it is age cheating! likewise the other way round .SO return your JAMB certification and start with the right age , you have cheated the nation for doing so, thereby depriving people with the right age to take thier JAMB at the said period...moron!!.
I do not condon such behavor but i hate holier than thau attitude of some people in this forum. When you cheat through age , you cheat your future period!!.

sly1: 2012-02-03 02:17

Steve I AGREE INCREASING YOUR AGE OR REDUCING your age is WRONG. But I am actually not going to get into insults with someone I DONT KNOW. So I will let the forum judge who is the MORON. But I will let you know that it is ambition that drives a 15 year old boy to pass JAMB and finish masters by 21. GET SOME OF THAT, you need it.
