Zaragoza join chase for Kalu Uche

Posted: 2012-01-30 12:01

Spanish Primera Division side, Real Zaragoza have joined the hunt for Nigeria's 29-year-old offensive player Kalu Uche.

The Nigeria international is now a free agent after Swiss club Neuchatel Xamax were declared bankrupt. Kalu's agent has offered his services to several clubs in Spain- Zaragoza, Espanyol, Mallorca and Racing.

Glasgow Rangers are also looking to pounce, although the player himself told KickOffNigeria.com he is not aware of the interest from Scotland.

If terms are agreed with Real Zaragoza, Kalu would be offered a six-month contract with an option for two additional seasons.

Kalu scored 39 goals in 172 games in a six-season spell with Almeria.

Why are all our Super Eagles so unsettled at clubsides?
Why always uncertainties and troubles week in week out?

Kalu Uche has finally joined Espanyol on a one and half year deal. I think it's a good move for him. Espanyol is a decent side.
