'Shabba', forget about Palace

Siphiwe Tshabalala must cut his losses and sign a new contract with Kaizer Chiefs.
Tshabalala's situation with Crystal Palace is well documented and, reading between the lines, it is clear Palace are uncertain whether they want him. At the moment, they say they can only make a decision whether to sign him in June and meanwhile Kaizer Chiefs, who have offered him a three-year deal, are waiting on him to make a decision.
Shabba is obviously on playing overseas, but I totally agree with some KickOff.com readers such as Mukai, who says: "Palace does not want him enough and are just toying with the poor chap", and I couldn't agree more with Siyaz, who says: "Shabba, sign the Chiefs contract. These moegoes are taking you for a ride. They can see you are desperate to play overseas."
Tshabalala went for a look at Palace or as Palace boss Dougie Freedman puts it: "Not a trial as such; it's really for him to see if he likes us and if we like him", but no deal has been forthcoming since Tshabalala came back home from England.
Crucially, the player is in the last six [6] months of his contract with Chiefs and that simply means any other interested team, specifically Palace, can tie him down to a pre-contract and move him for free at the end of June. Palace are obviously aware of Tshabalala's contract situation with Chiefs, but in my view Palace are dithering because they don't want him.
If not, why are Palace waiting for June knowing they have an opportunity to sign the player on a pre-contract now?
On the other hand, Tshabalala has asked Chiefs for three days to think over his future which means his decision is expected anytime now and he probably feels the pressure to give Chiefs an answer. But with Palace considering a deal in June, imagine if Tshabalala tells Chiefs to wait for until the end of the season…
This situation puts Tshabalala between a rock and a hard place, because the longer he keeps Chiefs waiting the club at large may question his commitment and knowing South African soccer fans well, the player could be subjected to boos and all simply because he may be reluctant to sign a new contract with Chiefs before he finds out the actual intentions of Palace in June.
Right now he is facing a lose-lose situation; Chiefs fans may turn on him if he delays any longer to sign a new deal and Palace may not offer him a deal in June.
If I were Tshabalala, I would sign the new contract offered by Chiefs because Palace don't seem really interested otherwise they wouldn't wait until June.
Alternatively, if Palace are really interested the best time to sign Tshabalala is now for reasons I mentioned earlier.
It is now or never.
