Zothwane very happy at Celtic

A few days since arriving to join Bloemfontein Celtic, midfielder Papi Zothwane is very happy at his new club.

Zothwane has joined Celtic on a 6 months loan deal from Mamelodi Sundowns. The former Bafana Bafana midfielder has endured tough times at Chloorkop where he had virtually no game time and was later relegated to train with the reserve team.

Zothwane is now determined to put the past behind him and try hard for Phunya Sele Sele.

"I am happy to be back and playing football again," Zothwane tells KickOff.com.

"Now I am working hard at training and ready to give my best for Celtic," he says.

The midfielder says he has been humbled by the reception he has received from the people of Bloemfontein since arriving this week.

"Bloemfontein Celtic is not a hectic place and so far I have received good treatment from everybody since I arrived here. I can’t complain being homesick as I also spent a long time in Durban away from my home before coming back to Johannesburg.

"The people here love Celtic and have already made me feel at home," he adds.

Celtic coach Clinton Larsen is excited about the arrival of Zothwane.

"I know Papi personally...he is a great player with quality. At the moment we are working on his fitness and conditioning as he has not played for sometime but we have never doubted his quality as a great player," says Larsen.

Ginger, never burn your bridges ntwana. Whilst we supporters were equally frustrated by your lack of game time, you also need to take full responsibility. Does the name' Danish pub' in diepkloof ring the ball? You know it also killed you. Hope you won't be a regular at cubana. Make use of this opportunity chief who knows what might happen? Yellow I remain till they tell at old age fc who's fooling who?

Yellow is taking sa soccer level to the next level. We are an ambitious football club. We deserved more from dis players dat our opponents special agents are accusing us of destroying . If swallows wanted to keep mnotong y they were not prepared to pay for him. When teams sell players to downs they increase the prices and when it time for them to buy players from downs, they want them for free.
Ginger be honest with yourself like Diarra of real madrid(now ozit is wearing no 10), Google Earth deserve that no 10 jersey more than u. U had it for almost 3 years and u never did anything for yellow.
@theO..Yellow I also remain

How can player be happy in a team without even to have kicked a ball in that team. Is he insane? Who is he trying to convince?

Hopefully we will see you do what you do best albeit for a short period of time as age is no longer on your side.
