Log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns will face Black Leopards and two other teams from Zimbabwe and Zambia in practice matches that will be staged behind closed doors in Limpopo.
The games will give Mamelodi Sundowns coach Johan Neeskens a chance to assess the readiness of his team to maintain their lead on the log table when the League matches resume next month soon after the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Neeskens will also try out new combinations, especially upfront where he will be eager to see how Liberian striker Anthony Laffor can fit into a strike-force already teeming with the talents of Nyasha Mushekwi and Katlego Mphela.
Black Leopards have also welcomed the matches as they are preparing for this year's edition of the CAF Confederations Cup.
"Following the cancellation of the planned four team tournament in Limpopo, Mamelodi Sundowns and Black Leopards have now arranged practice games for the weekend," Sundowns announced on their website.
"The games will still feature four teams, Caps United (Zimbabwe), Power Dynamos (Zambia), Sundowns and Black Leopards."
Supporters will not be able to attend as the games will held behind closed doors.
