Roder de Sa says Patrick Phungwayo not talking to Orlando Pirates

'Myeni negotiating with big three'

Bidvest Wits coach Roger de Sa says Sifiso Myeni is “busy negotiating with the big three” – but insists there have been no offers for Patrick Phungwayo.

Students captain Myeni recently dropped a bombshell by confirming he wanted to leave the club, and De Sa confirms there have been no shortage of suitors.

However, he has rubbished suggestions that Phungwayo is on the verge of a move to Orlando Pirates.

“We have not received any offers from Pirates regarding Phungwayo; in fact, the only player who is busy negotiating with the big three is Sifiso Myeni,” De Sa tells KickOff.com.

“Pirates, Sundowns and Chiefs are all speaking to Myeni at the moment. He is the only player from the club who is currently talking to other teams.”

We all know who will emerge victorious and secure Myeni's services- yes, the club which still has its integrity when coming to putting needs of players first. At this club we don't do the follwing:

1) We don't promise the player big monies and drop them to the bench; that's Plutinum Mining approach where players share the same payroll with miners.

2) We dont relagate players to other clubs without their knowledge, or sign ghosts and forge signature; that's the mafia approach to force people to be what they dont want to be against their will.

3) We dont discourage our players for thinking that SA football is the last resort, that the approach our immidiate neighbours are, unfortunately for those concerned, taking as part of their values.

4) We dont neglect our player's education and other off the field activities, we offer them financial and insurance services and options for free (Hollard and Amakhosi Funeral covers); our neighbours cant even afford ABET for the madala they are signing left, right and centre

I can go on the whole day... Myeni already knows this cause Sunflops are by default out, and our neighbours have no integrity as their mafia boss lie about them in the newsapers. The only problem with us is VV's attitude towards players and Bobby general personality, which as it is, is not selling a happy face!

Sguveve Khoza even has the looks, the voice, and demeanour of a crook, yet Pirates fans protect him tooth and nails even though he hijacked their team from a secretary to the chairman in broad daylight. nc. nc. nc.

I have problem with Roger's role at Wits!is he the agent or spokeman for the players.what role is he playing.he is inquisitive with players affairs when in fact he should be trying to offer this boys lucrative contracts to keep them. outside teams are allowed to talk to players whose contracts are 6 months to expire.so this man will never know every details or meetings about this players.he screwed by not selling them in time now he is trying to sell them by talking too much to the media about who is talking to who and not.
