'Schillo' desperate for first-team football

Steven Pienaar is ready to leave English Premiership side Tottenham Hotspur in search of first team football.
KickOff.com understands that the Bafana Bafana skipper will abandon his hopes of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season if he can move to a club where he will be a regular starter.
Spurs have already rejected one bid for the 29-year-old from ambitious fellow Londoners Queens Park Rangers, and have said they are not willing to let the player go on the cheap.
Pienaar signed a four-year deal with the White Hart Lane club last January, so still has plenty to run on the contract, which leaves the club with the upper hand.
They are under no pressure to sell and with manager Harry Redknapp looking to keep a strong squad together for the run-in to the campaign where they are targeting a top-four finish and, possibly, a tilt at the Premiership title, he is hesitant to let experienced internationals leave.
For that reason, Spurs will have to be persuaded to sell and only a big offer, thought to be in the region of £5-million (R60-million), will persuade them to part with the former Everton star.
Contrary to reports in England, Pienaar will not be seeking showdown talks with Redknapp, but has made it clear that he wants first-team football, either at Spurs or another club.
