Mduduzi Nyanda rejoins Platinum Stars

Nyanda moves back to Stars

Platinum Stars have completed the loan return of Orlando Pirates midfielder Mduduzi Nyanda until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old had spent the first half of this season on loan at SuperSport United, but both Matsatsantsa and Pirates have agreed to allow him to return to Dikwena.

Nyanda made 23 appearances for Stars last season and the junior international won good praise for the performances, prompting the move to SuperSport.

But after initially finding regular football under Gavin Hunt in Tshwane at the start of the season, the opportunities dried up for him.

Meanwhile, the club has also confirmed that right-back Tshifhiwa Mmbooi has been loaned to National First Division side Dynamos for the remainder of the season.

Mmbooi played in the opening game of the campaign against Ajax Cape Town, but was stretchered off injured and has failed to regain his place in the team. He joined Dikwena from Kaizer Chiefs at the start of the campaign.

One of the most under-rated players in the league. He needs to show more consistency though.
