Free State Stars defender Thabo Matlaba says he has signed for Orlando Pirates
Matlaba sings a different tune to Stars

Despite Free State Stars informing KickOff.com that he had not signed, Thabo Matlaba and his agent insist he is an Orlando Pirates player.
Stars PRO Lebohang Moketa inexplicably denied the move to KickOff.com yesterday, saying it was merely media speculation, and that there had not even been talks between the two clubs.

Angry and bewildered Njabulo Manqana has dropped a bombshell: he has not signed for Orlando Pirates, despite the club's claims.
But Matlaba's agent Abbie Rasimphi claims Matlaba has signed a three-year contract with Pirates.
"Thabo is a Pirates player," Rasimphi says. "Pirates are a very professional club and followed the right channels to sign the player. I have got contract to show you that the boy has signed for Pirates!"
Meanwhile, the player himself is keen to get down to the business of football at his new club.
"I am an Orlando Pirates player and I have signed with the club," Matlaba tells KickOff.com.
"It's been my dream to play for a big team like Pirates and the icing on the cake is the fact that they are the team I supported since my childhood!
As for the pressure that comes hand in hand with playing for Bucs, the Limpopo-born defender says: "In life sometimes you need take risks and I feel like I have made the right decision to join Pirates. I am feeling no pressure at all."
Matlaba will only start training with Pirates next week: "I was sick, but was at training yesterday and the club introduced me to the rest of the players. I will only officially start training with the club on Monday."
