Tunisia's coach Sami Trabelsi has heaped praise on his players ahead of their 2012 Africa Cup of Nations clash against Morocco on Monday.
"The talent of a number of players who are at our disposal in the national team in midfield and attack can only result in a big boost to our squad. We count a lot on the abilities of these players who technically might be one of the best generations that Tunisian football has ever seen," said Trabelsi to FootPlus before the Carthage Eagles boarded their flight to Libreville on Thursday.
"When you see players like [Yassine] Chikhaoui, [Oussama] Darragi, Zouhaier [Dhaouadi], Youssef [Msakni], Sami Allagui, and Sabeur Khelifa… These are guys that, when they are mentally and physically on their day, can have great influence."
The 2011 Africa Championship of Nations (Chan) winning coach conceded that a recent 2-0 loss to Ivory Coast did reveal some deficiencies in the team but assured journalists that solutions to the problems would be found before Monday, when Tunisia take on north African rivals Morocco.
"There are some players who just came back to the team, some who are still lacking a bit of chemistry with the others but as time goes by, between now and our first match, we're definitely going to find an efficient line-up with regards to players and strategy," he added.
