Bilankulu sheds light on Mawejje

Golden Arrows defender Musa Bilankulu has revealed what we can expect from one of the club's new signings – Ugandan midfielder Tonny Mawejje.

According to Bilankulu, Arrows coach Muhsin Ertugral has made an astute signing in Mawejje.

"Tonny has been here for a week and he is a very good player. Ni nga vula ku [I can say] that he is similar to Clifford Ngobeni," Bilankulu reveals.

"I think the only difference between the two is the physique, because you know the guys from Africa are big so he is a bit taller than Clifford and he likes taking shots from distance, but in general he is a lot similar to Clifford and a very good player as I said," he says.

Arrows have been the busier of the PSL teams in the January transfer window having signed five players already and Bilankulu believes Ertugral will have lots of options.

"I think we have reinforced the team well, because now we have a lot of options. We were predictable in terms of the starting line-up, but now I think there would be some surprises," Bilankulu concludes.

Arrows have also signed Andre Petim, Sibusiso Hadebe, Clifford Ngobeni and Siphelele Mthembu and are also on the verge of signing Ivorian goalkeeper, Stephan Loboue.
