Ghana beat Platinum Stars 2-0 in a friendly at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium yesterday evening.
Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew got the goals.
Ghana fans will be pleased to hear that Gyan scored for the Black Stars, a promising sign considering he has just returned from injury.
The venue is a favourite one for Gyan, who also scored against Australia in the 2010 World Cup group stage and the USA in the second round.
Ghana had been using the Royal Bafokeng Campus as their base in preparation for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
Dikwena's season gets underway with an away trip to Ajax Cape Town on February 15.
Earlier in the day, Platinum Stars defeated First Division side Mpumalanga Black Aces 2-1 in another friendly match.
