The Nigeria Premier League (NPL) will resume on Thursday after it was suspended due to demonstrations against the removal of subsidy on fuel by the government on New Year’s day.
The games will commence on Thursday with the rescheduled week one match between Kaduna United and Jigawa Golden Stars in Kaduna.
Week four matches will be played this weekend as Kwara United face Dolphins, Wikki Tourists match-up against Kano Pillars, and Akwa United take on Jigawa Golden Stars on Saturday, January 21.
Other week four fixtures will take place on Sunday, January 22. The matches are Gombe United versus Niger Tornadoes, Enugu Rangers versus Kaduna United, Sunshine Stars versus Ocean Boys, Enyimba versus Sharks, Heartland versus ABS FC, and Warri Wolves versus Lobi Stars.
All week two fixtures have also been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2012 while a new date would be announced for week three matches.
