Nkosi: 'I'm staying at Arrows'

Posted: 2012-01-17 14:36

Siyabonga Nkosi says he is going nowhere and is happy to stay at Golden Arrows despite talk of a transfer.

The former Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana midfielder says that while there has been some interest in his services from other clubs, he is happy to remain in KZN.

"Look. I love the team and am happy here (at Arrows)," Nkosi tells KickOff.com.

"There has been talk, but at end of day I am here. If Arrows don't release me then I am here until my contract ends which is in June this year."

Nkosi was linked with a move back to Orlando Pirates, where he started as a junior player.

He and Njabulo Manqana were said to be Bucs targets as Arrows set their sights on Clifford Ngobeni.

It seems Ngobeni will leave Pirates for Arrows and Manqana is on his way up to Gauteng, but Nkosi's part in that transfer speculation was merely guess work.

"I can't reveal team names, but there was some interest that came through the right channels, through my manager.

"But had there been anything serious I think I would have heard from my club," Nkosi says.

"In the end I am here, ready for when the season kicks off, and quite happy in Durban."

This Nkosi boy was never ready to move to Germany but because of Chiefs greed, they frustrated the poor Nkosi, look where he is today.

He did n't even reach his full potential neither has he achieved things in the PSL.

Chiefs dealing backfire and you end up like this.

Soemthing must have transpired in Germany that rattled Nkosi cause he has not looked like the player with potential prior his move to Germany.

His musct speak out and let the elders slaughter a goat or two for him. Hayi phela, this guy is pap now. Pap like a one legged Gervhinio wannabe.

My advice to you Nkosi is, never ever dream of joining Bucs, you will never make it there my chana. It's only tried and tested that make it Bucs, the boys with nerves of steel and a will to succeed. Do I need to say their names as you know them? The likes of Jali, Chansa, Manyisa, in their short career they have achieved what others are still dreaming of. Some like a certain Spiwe Tshabalala and Lentsolonyane are about to retire now with nothing to show.
