Ex-Ghana FA chairman Lepowura M.N.D Jawula has cautioned against complacency when Ghana plays in its Africa Cup of Nations, Group D opener against Botswana on January 24.  

 The Zebras of Botswana, who were the first amongst the 16 teams heading to Gabon and Equatorial Guinea even before the finish of the preliminaries, have been camping in South Africa and Cameroon to fine-tune their preparations for their first Africa Cup of Nations.   "They're working hard and touring countries." Jawula, who is a member of CAF’s Organising Committee for Inter-clubs competition said.   "They've been in South Africa and Cameroon camping and their coach {Stanley Tshosane} wants to achieve something. I think they are a hungry team," he added.   The former GFA capo shared in the popular opinion that the Teranga Lions of Senegal and the Didier Drogba-led Ivory Coast will prove Ghana's hurdle in winning their first major trophy since 1982.   "I believe that Senegal and Cote d’Ivoire will be the favourities to stand in Ghana's way to winning the trophy. The other groups have other strong teams but I think these two are going to be Ghana's biggest tests"   Lexis Amartey

Blogger, i was humbled at the high rate at which the South Africans are buying the Zebras Replicca, I went to look for our ALKASI T-shirt at YAPPIES (BBS Mall) yesterday and I was shocked to learn that the shop had 10000 order of T-shirts for South Africa alone and that because of their population they might take everything available! I was so Humbled, Honestly football like love knows no bounderies. It didnt cross mind that South Africans can Support The Might Zebras!!! Realeboga bagaetsho!!!
