Santos confirm they are close to finalising a move for Nasief Morris, but deny that they are set to sign his SuperSport United teammate Ricardo Katza as well.
Santos’ CEO Edries Burton says a move for the former Bafana Bafana defender should be completed within the next few days.
“There have been talks between us and SuperSport United regarding Morris, but there is nothing on Ricardo Katza,” he tells KickOff.com.
“At the moment discussions are at a final stage regarding Morris and we expect the deal to be concluded before the end of the week.”
Another player who will know his fate by the end of the week is Gert Schalkwyk, who has been training with the club since last year.
