Kumasi Asante Kotoko are looking to end the first round of the Glo Premier League on the high as they host unpredictable Medeama SC.
Kotoko have just about shaded the first half of the season with bitter rivals Accra Hearts of Oak giving them stiff competition all the way.
But the Porcupine Warriors will be wary of Medeama, managed by their former boss Bashir Hayford even though there is a seven point gap between the two sides.
Hearts of Oak, are in second and will still be keeping the heat at the top with the visit of Heart of Lions to the Accra Sports Stadium.
The draw with Bechem has left the Phobians under pressure to collect all three points because another set back could set them with a tall order even this early in the season.
Berekum Chelsea are buzzing after winning the Berekum Derby but must now win another game against familiar opponents when they host BA rivals Aduana Stars who they dethroned as league champions at the Golden City Park.
Chelsea are the League's second top-scoring side – second to Kotoko – but would find Aduana, who hold the competition's best defensive record, having let in just six goals so far, a tough opposition to crack.
Wa All Stars take on Liberty Professionals, who are smarting from their defeat to Kotoko with both sides desperate to return to winning ways again.
Tema Youth's resurgence would be tested at the Robert Mensah Stadium when they come up against Ebusua Dwarfs, who appear to have suddenly lost their guile.
New Edubiase, still missing Emmanuel Baffour will welcome AshantiGold to the Gyamfi Park as they attempt to push up the table.
The all-relegation battle at the Sekondi Stadium would see bottom side, Wassaman clash with third from bottom, Bechem United to conclude the pairings for the weekend.
