Haskins on his way to Cosmos

Bidvest Wits midfielder Mark Haskins has attracted the interest of his former club Jomo Cosmos.

Cosmos look to be interested in taking Haskins on loan for the rest of the season.

The brilliant form of Sibusiso Vilakazi has seen Haskins fall out of favour at the Clever Boys, and he has battled for a starting place since last season, when he started just four games in all competitions.

His situation has worsened this season and, with the January transfer window opening, he has a chance to get a loan move and some game-time.

With Cosmos thin on experience, Haskins looks to be a good option.

"Cosmos are interested in taking him, but we are waiting for them to make it more tangible," says Ryan Hartslief, the agent representing Haskins.

Haskins is known to prefer a move to a Gauteng-based club, to be with his family, making Ezenkosi a likely destination.

The 30-year-old's four-year contract, which he signed from Moroka Swallows in 2009, expires in 2013.

Lovemore Moyo

What a player! He's unfortunately the most under-rated player in the PSL. He is actually a national squad material. It's a pity he's continuously been overlooked despite the fact that he's far much better than some players who have been given a chance at Bafana. Be strong my man, should you get enough game time you'll see many Thomases starting to believe in you.

I hope to see this class player in the colors of Cosmos. I hope this rumour turns out true as Cosmos desperately needs an experienced player to partner Tukane and Loke.

What???? no way! Jomo does not deserve to get a player of his calibre nx!!! agree with Clive@Tshwane this boy is a class player! Someone told me about this as they knew how much i admire this boy's talent but we have coaches in this country who is too dumb to see quality! I guess Jomo knows talent and will take advantage of it! dont really care who he plays for as long as i get to see him on the field again! good luck Haskins! look forward to seeing you pumping them in with both left and right feet! eish a skill few players in this country has!
